QFGV is $35 at CompUSA and Best Buy, so what are you waiting for? :) Ok, they are working on the patch now, which will fix all bugs they know about. Please email me with a list of bugs youve encountered and I will pass them on. It should fix the importing problems as well. Please don't be impatient because the team deserves a break since they've been at work for so long on this game! No word yet about multiplayer, but my prediction is that it will be out in March or so. No word on QFG6, other than it will depend on the sales of QFGV. So get eveyone and their mother to get it!! and then we'll have a chance at getting the next game also, baldur's gate is $35 at best buy, and its well worth it. so you should pick it up.. but only after you get QFGV of course. Also, make sure you vote for QFGV at Gamezilla's 1998 Reader's Poll! |

Thanks to Toranga, I found out that CompUSA is selling QFGV for $35 with a strategy guide.. so if you haven't got it yet, then what are you doing on the computer? go to the store right now and buy it! whether or not another game comes out depends on the sales of the game! vote for QFGV at Gameover's game of the year poll! Here are some more QFGV Reviews: Gamespot, Adventure Central, Happypuppy (keep in mind, some of these reviews are too low. actually, this is one of the best games of the year!) There was an official QFGV chat at Talkspot, but I only found out about it about 10 mintues before it started, so I'm sorry I couldn't let more people know about it. It was in real audio, so it was very cool.. The archive on their site should be updated soon. Check back here to see if it's up. Meanwhile, here are some details: The QFGV soundtrack is doing ok, but it needs to sell a LOT more copies before it will be distributed commercially in stores, etc. So buy it, if you don't have it already! You can get it for $7.95 if you call sierra and mention the offer "QFGSTR" (1.800.757.7707). If you want to see the ad for it, download it here. The patch for QFGV is due in late January or February.. and the multiplayer addon should begin beta testing soon. I estimate it will be out by March. The Coles may be working on the Middle Earth project next, and a future game depends on the success of this one, so make sure everyone you know gets it, and buy some copies as gifts for your friends! Advertise it like crazy! Now that it's out, you have to do advertise even more, so it will be more successful! QFGV is still on sale at Best Buy for $35, so pick it up soon if you don't have it, because their sales don't last very long. Also, make sure you vote for QFGV at Gamezilla's 1998 Reader's Poll! |

A couple of new reviews of QFGV at ANTAGONIST Games and Next-Generation. I especially liked the ANT review, it is very positive and is what the game deserves, unlike the one at pc.ign.com. I just got QFGV today and its awesome!! (I expected it) I hope it will win some awards in the gaming industry, it certainly deserves them! It has lived up to my expectations, and that's saying a lot since my expectations of this game were very high! If you live in the LA area, you're in luck! InteractCD, a software store in Pasadena has QFGV for a nice price of $34.95. Also, Krondor and many others are the same price. If you don't believe me, check their webpage. Yes, this wonderful game is finally finished and is in replication as you read this! It should be in stores within a week or so. Check with your local software stores and put your copy on reserve today, or you can order it directly from Sierra and get the QFG Collection for free! (see link from 11.22) For more information and details about the finishing of the game, check the official QFGV site! Thanks to Jackel, who called Cendant, he said that you can confirm your ship date if you ordered it from sierra if you call them after Dec. 15th. a few weeks. The reason why the page hasn't been updated is that they are

Also, the sales of QFGV are critical for the future of the series, so tell everyone you know about it and convince them to buy the QFG Collection and more importantly QFGV! On May 19th, Susan Frischer E-mailed me updating and informing me on several things. Here's the deal. SWAT 2 is finished and will be shipping soon. Well, Tammy Dargan is getting SWAT 3, which will be done up in the Sierra Studios (if you remember, I told you the rumor of Tammy going back to designing several weeks back!) Anyway, Susan has lots of ideas for a game, and she would like to try to convince Sierra to do an adventure "Police Quest". But for that, she needs request, petitions, and even suggestions for plot, characters, etc. Even if you have already sent hundreds of petitions to Sierra, you *have* to help out with this. So send everything to *me* at: bellatti@impsat1.com.ar I will make sure Susan reads everything and that she gets it in *her* mailbox.
