Duff McKagan's Loaded 3.30.99 at the Opium Den, Hollywood Here is the lineup for the band: Micheal Barragan (guitar, vocals) Dez Ladena (guitar, vocals) Taz Bentley (drums) - Also played with Izzy Stradlin' on 117 Degrees Duff McKagan (bass, vocals) Here is the setlist: Seattle Head Superman Missing You Then & Now Mezz Shining Down She Got a Lot Ridin' Home Raw Power Duff's Webpage: http://www.duff-mckagan.com This was an excellent show, the venue was pretty big, so we were able to get up front with no problems, and the sound was really quite loud! The show rocked, and the guitarists are both excellent. The drummer, Taz, is one of the best I've heard play live, wow.. he was really amazing! Duff was wearing a dark shirt and black leather pants and his hair is about as short and the same color as recent pictures of him, and Dez wore an Iggy Pop shirt with black pants, and Micheal wore a black coat and pants. There was a good variety in the show, with alternating HEAVY and slow parts. My favorite song was probably Missing You, but I wanted them to play Put you Down or Who's to Blame? You could tell that the band was pretty tight, because they didn't really make many mistakes, and it was really nice to hear some of these songs after being a little familiar with them. This time he had some cds for sale, and since the album wasn't released, they are bootleg copies! Also, he had some Loaded shirts for sale, which were pretty cool. He didn't introduce all the songs, and some even led into others, so it was a bit confusing if you couldn't see the setlist. He introduced the last song, Raw Power, and he also introduced a new song called Ridin' Home which he said he wrote with his good friend Izzy. I liked that one a lot too.. They are going to start touring in May and will probably go to the East Coast and the midwest, and then go from there..hopefully hitting some foreign countries. They finished recording the live album at this show, so look for it for sale soon most likely from the website. If you can, check out their show and you can get a chance to buy the cd, and its definitely a show worth seeing!
